Originally from Maritime Canada, where he was educated at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Eric Walker, now based in Ottawa, is a Métis Acadien and member of the Eastern Woodland Métis Nation. His constructed image work focuses on the creation of socially and politically grounded narrative compositions using materials and situations of everyday life. Eric Walker’s works have been exhibited throughout Canada and internationally in Tokyo, Mexico City, and New York.
