The Groupe Agriculturel grew out of a series of meetings and discussions on the current state of artistic creation and the problems it faced. The collective work of the Groupe Agriculturel is the fruit of the experience of its members, Miguel-Angel Berlanga, Marion M. Border and José Mansilla Miranda, whose professional work in the field of visual arts total more than 60 years. The thinking and the output of the Groupe has sprung from the need to offer representational options in a post-modern ecosystem saturated with images controlled by different power codes.
