Natascha Niederstrass holds an MFA from York University in Toronto (2001) and a BFA from Concordia University in Montreal (1997). Using video, photography and installation, Niederstrass's work underlines the ambiguity of signs and cultural codes which represent a reality that often escapes us.

She has shown in solo and group exhibitions in Canada and abroad. In 2014, L’affaire de Camden Town was exhibited at Occurrence - Espace d’art et d’essai contemporains, and Deconstruction of a tragedy was presented at Galerie Trois Points.
