Turning the Page Artist roundtable, BBQ, and Interactive "reactable" performance with Jesse Stewart On the final day of the exhibition: Turning the Page, please come out and celebrate our ground breaking artistic collaboration with us. The afternoon will include: 2:00 p.m. - Roundtable with artists: Richard Bolduc, Analisa Kiskis, Christine Hammond, Caroline Joanisse, Debbie Ratcliffe, and Andre Lanthier; and with co-curators: Lin Roswell, Jessie Stewart, and Laura Margita. 3:00-5:00 p.m. - BBQ and interactive sound performance by Jesse Stewart, on the “reactable”. The images for this event are the first large-scale exhibition of works on paper by H’Art of Ottawa artists—the artists treated the sheets of brown paper as found objects, creating a 4 foot by 8 foot collage and a bound book of pages out of different fragments of the brown paper sheets, thereby re-introducing artistic intention into the creative process. Many of the artists regard the brown paper patina as a metaphor for their experiences at H’Art and with one another.
