• G101 Call for Treasurer text graphic

    14/10/25

Gallery 101 seeks a committed and detail-oriented individual to join our Board of Directors as Treasurer. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to an artist-run, non-profit organization prioritizing compassion, collaboration, and community-building through the arts.

While financial expertise is key, nonprofit experience is not required—what matters most is a commitment to the arts, fiscal responsibility, and equitable governance.

    As Treasurer, you will:

    • Review each years' projected annual budgets as set by the D/C and ratified by the board.
    • Attend quarterly meetings to review quarterly reports based on the projected annual budget.
    • Have awareness and access to multi-year projected budgets
    • Provide financial oversight to support the sustainability and transparency of Gallery 101.

    Commitments include:

    • Attending Board meetings every 6–8 weeks (virtually or in person, approx. 1 hour each).
    • Participating in the AGM and assisting with annual financial reporting.
    • Engaging with Gallery 101 events whenever possible.

This role requires an Ottawa-based individual, as occasional in-person tasks (such as document signings) may be necessary.

By joining our Board, you will be essential in supporting an arts organization that fosters meaningful connections and creative dialogue.

To apply or inquire further, please send a brief expression of interest (500 words or less) to office@g101.ca by October 31, 2025.

Gallery 101 values diversity, equity, and inclusion. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds and identities to apply.
