Waiting For Kurt Browning, 2014
When I went to St. Philip Square with my dad he skated with me on the ice together we had hot chocolate and beaver tails and my dad said to me I have a surprise for you so we went back to the ice rink and I saw Kurt Browning skating. So my dad said to me go skating with him and see him in person. I was so shocked. When I skated with him my first time together it was a beautiful feeling inside. It makes me happy and my dad took a picture of me skating with Kurt Browning: I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek WOW.
Analisa says this is a small picture about a big dream. Her painting has soft lighting on a staged rink for skating at night. The benches are for putting on your skates. Can you imagine yourself skating with Kurt? The rink is empty as this painting is about waiting for the moment when the star figure skater arrives and we can enjoy the leaps and excitement of an Olympic caliber athlete.
