Natasha MAZURKA obtained a Master of Fine Art from Concordia University, where she was the recipient of the J.W. McConnell Fellowship. Mazurka is the recipient of grants from the City of Ottawa and the Ontario Arts Council. She has participated in residencies including the Brucebo Fine Art Residency (Gotland, Sweden), the Vermont Studio Center (Johnson, VT), and DAïMON (Gatineau, QC). She has shown her work locally and internationally, and her paintings are held in collections such as the City of Ottawa’s Fine Art Collection and the Canadian Fine Art Collection of Gotland, Sweden. Upcoming exhibitions include Modern Fuel, Kingston, and the Ottawa Art Gallery, Ottawa. Mazurka teaches in the Fine Art department at Algonquin College.
