Susan Hiller is an American artist who has been living and working in London for nearly 40 years. Tate Britain, London, is currently hosting a retrospective exhibition of her work. Other recent solo exhibitions have taken place at Index, Stockholm, Matt’s Gallery, London, Joy Projects, Beijing, The Jewish Museum, New York, Castello di Rivoli, Turin and The Wexner Centre for the Arts, Columbus. The Last Silent Movie has been included in the 5th Berlin Biennial, the 17th Sydney Biennial and Art Unlimited | Art Basel. Hiller’s work is held in the collections of the British Council, London, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, Imperial War Museum, London, Moderna Museet, Stockholm, Tate Gallery, London and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
