*This Workshop is Full* Saturday, November 15th, 2-5pm @ Gallery 101 Beadwork 201 will focus specifically on Great Lakes style floral beadwork. Each participant will design a floral pattern and begin to bead a square centre panel for a bandolier bag. Great Lakes' floral designs, stencil cut-outs, transferring patterns, single and double needle techniques will be presented. Some previous experience or familiarity with beadwork is recommended. www.barryacearts.com The workshop is limited to (10) registered participants and the following supplies are required: Required Materials 10” x 10” raw canvas material or felt or hide or velvet** pre-mounted to a canvas or stiff material backing; Beading needles (sized for your beads) (glovers needles if stitching hide). Assorted beads (size 10 or your choice): preferably - white (stem work); green (leaves); yellow and red (flowers) and other colours of your choice. Beading thread; Scissors; Pencil, easer and 10” x “10” card stock or thicker paper; Needle nose pliers. **tailors wax crayon to transfer design onto velvet.
