Bouchard and Drufrasne usually work independently but for a few years they have been working together in some occasions. Those collaborations are the result of a close relationship, a real friendship and numerous intellectual affinities. In Ottawa, Bouchard and Dufrasne will expose themselves to comments, with the ambition of occupying “the city” and the gallery space with fifteen new works. This show will be held at Gallery 101 from March 11 to April 17. It examines the relationship between two men, on the other’s gaze on oneself and on what occurs when two people are suspiciously intimate. Photography, sculpture, installation, complicity, playful twists of language and memories, the elements form a whole, more shameless then a gossip and invites the visitors to witness scenes of affections where the protagonists indulge in confrontational actions with the audience.
