Recent photoworks by Hull artist Nicole Doucet involving mediated images and texts. The artist is working with the notion of television as a “databank” of reality –television as a kind of history of our times. The mediated images permit an enlargement of the visual field as they are taken out of context and rendered subjectively. In colour photographs, images and language are used to talk about death.
