Pronounced: A∙sin∙a∙bi∙ka, The Asinabika Women's Drum Circle was formed in July of 2002. It is an “All Nations”, Ottawa based, traditional drum group. Asinabika is an Algonquin word which means "stone and water places". As women we have a special connection with the water, and the stones represent our ancestors or the ancient ones.
